GWA regularly receives visits from groups of students from programs that touch or revolve around design, but usually focus entirely on the computer. Communication Media Design, for example, but also Spatial Design from the Utrecht School of the Arts.

By now we can say that a workshop at GWA makes you a better designer. A visit to the workshop proves time and again to be a particularly valuable ‘step away from the computer’. The students are highly motivated and learn a lot about the background of typography, but also about paper and color.

GWA works with elementary schools, secondary schools, colleges, community centers and after-school programs. For each age group we devise an appropriate workshop or course. Always a customized course, taking into account the size of the group, the level and the core objectives that your school or institution is currently working on.
